Temperature fluctuations between day and night are kept to a minimum, due to the corrugated galvanised metal exterior structure, and this has been scientifically proven to result in less condensation and moisture when compared to polyethylene silos. This improves the quality of the feed and prevents mould from accumulating and feed from congealing.

Furthermore, the interior of the hopper has a smooth protective coating with prevents blockages from building up. ‍

These silos are sturdy and durable and carry a five-year guarantee; they meet the EN 1090 standard which determines the criteria for the manufacture of steel and aluminium constructions and comply with the EU standard on the structural safety of steel constructions.
